PFRDA Officer Grade A Recruitment 2026

Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA), the statutory regulator for pension sector in India, has released Advt 03/2026 dated 03.09.2026 for 30 Officer Grade 'A' (Assistant Manager) posts across four streams — General (25), Research (2), Actuary (2) and Official Language/Rajbhasha (1). The selection is a three-phase process comprising Phase I online screening exam, Phase II online exam and Phase III interview. Applications are online through ibpsreg.ibps.in/pfrdajul26/ from 03 September 2026 to 24 September 2026. Phase I exam is scheduled for 15 October 2026 and Phase II for 20 November 2026.

Candidates must hold a Master's Degree or PG Diploma (minimum 2 years) in the relevant discipline for the General stream. For Research, qualifications include Master's in Economics, Commerce, MBA, Statistics, Data Science or related fields. The Actuary stream requires passing all seven Core Principles subjects of IAI. For Official Language, Master's in Hindi/English or Hindi Translation with the other language at Bachelor's level is needed. Age limit is 30 years as on 31 July 2026 (born on/after 01 August 1996) with relaxation for SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), PwBD (10 years) and Ex-Servicemen (5 years). Application fee is ₹1,000 for UR/OBC/EWS, nil for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM. Candidates can apply for up to 2 streams with separate application and fee for each.

Pay scale is Rs. 62,500 - 3,600(4) - 76,900 - 4,050(7) - 1,05,250 - EB - 4,050(4) - 1,21,450 - 4,650(1) - 1,26,100 over 17 years. Gross emoluments at minimum of scale are approximately Rs. 2,05,000 per month including NPS, Grade Allowance, DA, HRA and other allowances. Selection Process

PFRDA Officer Grade A selection is a three-phase process. Phase I is a screening exam — marks are used only for shortlisting to Phase II and are not counted in the final result. Phase II carries 85% weightage in the final selection, and Phase III (Interview) carries 15%. Candidates equal to 5 times the number of vacancies are shortlisted for Phase III in merit order.
