Bihar Animal Sciences University (BASU) — Veterinary Faculty Teaching Positions
Bihar Animal Sciences University (BASU), Patna has released Employment Notice No. 05/2026 inviting applications for 95 teaching posts in the Veterinary Faculty. Selection Process
Academic Scorecard + Interview Performance
Selection is based on the candidate's previous academic and professional record (as per the prescribed scorecard) and performance in the interview. A candidate must obtain at least 50% marks in the interview to be considered in the merit list. SC/ST, Divyang, and female candidates (irrespective of category) need only 32% marks in the interview as per the government directive.

Selected candidates will receive attractive pay scales as per the 7th Central Pay Commission recommendations for Academic Institutions. The salary includes Basic Pay along with Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other allowances as per university norms.
